International Student Timeline

As you apply to attend the University of Oregon, use this timeline to stay on track. Plan to apply for housing as soon as possible. You don't need to be admitted to the university to apply. Housing is awarded on a first-come basis. Also, keep in mind that many departments and majors have earlier deadlines that are not listed on this timeline.

November

  • Apply for early (non-binding) notification to the Clark Honors College by November 1. Submit your honors college application along with your university application
  • Submit your Clark Honors College supporting documents for early notification by November 7

January

  • Submit the application for admission by January 15. Submit a separate application for the Clark Honors College

February

  • Submit the general university application by February 15
  • If you would also like to apply for the international scholarship, submit your application by February 15
  • This spring, admitted students will receive a link to the International Intent to Register form via e-mail. The online form reserves your place in the upcoming fall class, and should be completed as soon as possible

April

May

  • Return your housing contract with the $250 prepayment by May 15 if you are planning to live on campus
  • If you're still attending school, don't let your grades slip because you'll need to submit final transcripts by next month
  • Don't forget to complete the online International Intent to Register form

July

  • High school graduating seniors must provide the Office of Admissions with an official final high school transcript this month that includes the graduation date

August

  • Start packing! If you have returned a housing contract and the $250 prepayment, you will receive your residence hall room assignment this month or next

September
