Going to school far from home is exciting, and at times intimidating. At the University of Oregon, we do our best to make sure you feel at home.
When you arrive at the UO you'll be among 1,200 international students from 87 countries who all have at least one thing in common: the desire to attend a top-notch university known for its academic excellence, located in one of the most beautiful regions of the United States. Whether you study business, education, architecture, journalism, or any of the other 267 comprehensive academic programs, you'll find coursework that stresses global thinking, and prepares students for living as global citizens.

If you'd like to join our global community, follow these steps:
- Learn about our admission requirements for international freshmen, international transfer students, or international postbaccalaureate students. Learn about country-specific admissions requirements before applying.
- Complete the international application. You may also need to complete applications for specific programs, such as music or architecture. A $50 nonrefundable application fee is required.
